Why Rajasthan

The rural areas of the semi-desert region of Rajasthan in India have a very weak infrastructure and a high unemployment rate. Many parents cannot afford the costs of school education for their children. The state schools in the region are rare and overfilled, the number of teachers is too small. There are even some areas, where children are forced by financial situation of the family to stay at home and work hard in fields or nearby enterprises to contribute to family wealth and are thus deprived of the chance to get a basic education.

How we act

All the coordinative, organizational and work of the Association is done by an international network of volunteer workers exclusively who contribute their knowledge and skills in their spare time out of feelings of appreciation for our own privileges and of responsibility for other people’s needs.

Financial funds raised in the West get forwarded to our local representatives in Jadan, Rajastan, and are used in such a way, that the most needed and talented local children get the full benefit of the financial funds raised by the Association.
